Taylor – Fairmont Senior Photographer

Saturday, March 17th, 2012

Taylor and I met back when there were still leaves on the trees for her Senior session!  She specifically requested some images in a river and a lovely man in Lost Creek graciously allowed us to borrow the stream in his front yard.  Taylor’s on the dance team and definitely wanted images of her in her dance outfits as well as in her Greenbay Packers jersey.  (I’m related to more than a couple Cheeseheads. :) )  Taylor, it was just lovely to meet you!  You look beautiful!

Daren – Fairmont Senior Photographer

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

I finally get to share Daren’s session!  I am always on edge waiting for my clients to see their images so I can share them. :)   Daren and I met up in the fall to do her Senior session.  She attends Fairmont Senior and found me through my rep, Savannah.  (Thanks, Savannah!)  She wanted to meet at her house to start and go from there.  I am telling you, she had her session planned down to the last detail!  She knew exactly where she wanted to go and what she would wear.  I have never packed such variety into a 3 hour session!  We made it to 5 locations before we lost the sun.  AND met up several weeks later for her swim session.  This is going to be an overshare, but I just can’t not share the variety!  I loved the pink sweater she brought.  And what a neat idea to do some in Yann’s Hotdog Stand!  We also used the courtyard at CJ Maggie’s and a brick wall near Mi Pueblo, neither of which I have shot near before.  Stellar session – truly awesome.  Without further ado, here’s Daren!

Bella was such a sweet little doggy; I couldn’t resist a quick snap! (She was loving me because I was holding the Cheerios. :O )

I’m so excited to finally share this session!  Ally is one of my Senior reps this year.  We did her modeling session back last spring and we met up in the fall to do her full Senior portrait session.  She rocked this session!  We started out in downtown Bridgeport and finished the session in a field down in Lost Creek.  (A huge thank you to the landowners for letting us use their field!)  She didn’t look at me too funny when I told her to stand on the bench in a bus stop and she braved spiders and groundhog holes in the field.  (Okay, maybe it was me who braved the groundhog hole.  That thing was huge!)  She even got over the sadness of leaving one of her pair of rockin’ boots at home.  It was sad; but she prevailed.  So, without further ado, here are the images!

A little referral fun! – Clarksburg, Fairmont, Morgantown Photographer

Monday, January 9th, 2012

Do you need photos of your adorable new baby?  Are the photos in your house of your kids more than a year old?  Are you getting married and need engagement photos to celebrate?  Do you need Senior photos before you graduate?  Here’s an awesome chance for you to earn print credit for your session!

Starting today, right now (this very second even), for every friend that you refer who becomes a new fan of my Facebook page, you will get a $5 print credit.  AND, for every friend that you refer who signs up for my e-newsletter, you get an additional $5 print credit.  (Heck, I’ll even give you a $5 print credit for signing yourself up for my newsletter.  You know, because that’s the kind of gal I am.)  So you have the possibility to earn $10 towards some awesome photos for every friend you point my way!  Refer 10 friends, and you have $100 to spend on your photos.  How cool is that?  The best part?  Once you complete your session, you also get the chance to cash in on my awesome client referral program!  (Date night on me, anyone?!)

So, now for the guidelines.

  • Every referral must either post on my Facebook wall or in the comments below that they are a new ‘fan’ and mention your name.  I will not be able to track each new fan down and find out who referred them, so if you want the credit, they must mention your name.
  • When signing up for the e-newsletter there is a field for who referred you.  Again, they must put your name in here.  I will not accept emails after the fact giving your name.  It’s too confusing to keep track of that way.
  • You can earn up to $150 in print credit good on prints and products.  Print credit may not be applied to session fees.
  • Print credit may be gifted to someone else, but may not be combined.  (So you and 3 friends may not all gift your print credit to the same person.)
  • All print credit must be redeemed before April 15th.  (Hey Seniors!  This gives you enough time to do your Senior photos during Spring Break!)
  • Print credit is only applicable to future sessions and may not be used to purchase images from a session that has already been completed.

The earlier you begin referring people, the greater possibility of earning the full $150!  Because once you start referring friends, they’ll start referring friends too.  Also, I suggest contacting me asap to schedule your session.  I expect this to be quite popular and my calendar may fill up fast!  I will keep a running total of your credit up until the day of your ordering session.  (Your ordering session may be scheduled at the end of April, but your credit tally will stop as of April 15th.)

So, what are you waiting for?  Head over to my Facebook page and get referring!  Oh, and go sign up for the e-newsletter too. :)

Jacob – Morgantown Senior Photographer

Friday, July 8th, 2011

Here, finally, is the rest of Jacob’s modeling session!  I loved this session.  Jacob is such a great-looking guy and he was quite patient as I dragged him all over downtown in ridiculously hot weather.  I had never been into Tailpipes, but I’m so glad he suggested it!  And that last one is a new favorite of mine.

Savannah – Fairmont Senior Photographer

Monday, July 4th, 2011

So I can finally share the rest of Savannah’s modeling session!  When she and her mom suggested Prickett’s Fort I was a little unsure.  I hadn’t photographed out there in almost 2 years and I didn’t remember there being great spots for portraits.  Boy was I glad to be wrong!  It’s amazing how different locations can look with more experience.  We had a great day.  She was fun to work with and her mother and boyfriend helped keep things light and fun.  (You can accompany us for her Senior session, too!)  Savannah, I hope you love them!

Natalia – Morgantown Senior Photographer

Saturday, May 28th, 2011

Natalia is one of my Senior Reps for Morgantown High.  She had a great session in Downtown.  She has this natural way about her.  I did very little instructing; she just instinctively knew how to move and pose.  And I just love those Coach shoes!

Bridget – Morgantown Senior Photographer

Saturday, May 28th, 2011

Bridget is my Senior Rep from Clay-Battelle.  She is such a sweet girl.  She wasn’t very talkative during her modeling session; I’ll have to be sure and get her chatting next time!  Nicholas Sparks is her favorite author, so I was sure to incorporate his books into her photos.  I love how light and clean her images feel.

Ally – Barrackville Senior Photographer

Friday, May 27th, 2011

Alright, I can share the rest of Ally’s session now!  This was a fun, unique session for me.  Ally was a bundle of nerves when I got there, but I acted like a total fool and she really got into it the further along we went.  (Ally, only for you would I impersonate a rockstar in public!)  Showtime Music was most gracious in letting up photograph there.  They let us move things around and borrow drumsticks and guitars!  I had a great time and Ally looked beautiful!  I just adore some of these.

Jacob – Morgantown Senior Photographer

Monday, May 23rd, 2011

Jacob is the last of my Senior Reps this year.  We did his modeling session today in downtown Morgantown.  It was a hot day and we walked all over, but we got some good looking photos!  We finished up the session in Tailpipes.  It’s his favorite place to eat.  (Except for Steak N Shake.  We share a love of SNS!)  When I saw this sign in there, I knew I wanted a photo of him with it.  He’s a bit of a car guy.  (After all, he has an ’84 El Camino.)  So, here’s his sneak peek.
