Daren – Fairmont Senior Photographer

February 2nd, 2012

I finally get to share Daren’s session!  I am always on edge waiting for my clients to see their images so I can share them. :)   Daren and I met up in the fall to do her Senior session.  She attends Fairmont Senior and found me through my rep, Savannah.  (Thanks, Savannah!)  She wanted to meet at her house to start and go from there.  I am telling you, she had her session planned down to the last detail!  She knew exactly where she wanted to go and what she would wear.  I have never packed such variety into a 3 hour session!  We made it to 5 locations before we lost the sun.  AND met up several weeks later for her swim session.  This is going to be an overshare, but I just can’t not share the variety!  I loved the pink sweater she brought.  And what a neat idea to do some in Yann’s Hotdog Stand!  We also used the courtyard at CJ Maggie’s and a brick wall near Mi Pueblo, neither of which I have shot near before.  Stellar session – truly awesome.  Without further ado, here’s Daren!

Bella was such a sweet little doggy; I couldn’t resist a quick snap! (She was loving me because I was holding the Cheerios. :O )

Ally – Fairmont WV Senior Photographer

January 18th, 2012

I’m so excited to finally share this session!  Ally is one of my Senior reps this year.  We did her modeling session back last spring and we met up in the fall to do her full Senior portrait session.  She rocked this session!  We started out in downtown Bridgeport and finished the session in a field down in Lost Creek.  (A huge thank you to the landowners for letting us use their field!)  She didn’t look at me too funny when I told her to stand on the bench in a bus stop and she braved spiders and groundhog holes in the field.  (Okay, maybe it was me who braved the groundhog hole.  That thing was huge!)  She even got over the sadness of leaving one of her pair of rockin’ boots at home.  It was sad; but she prevailed.  So, without further ado, here are the images!

A little referral fun! – Clarksburg, Fairmont, Morgantown Photographer

January 9th, 2012

Do you need photos of your adorable new baby?  Are the photos in your house of your kids more than a year old?  Are you getting married and need engagement photos to celebrate?  Do you need Senior photos before you graduate?  Here’s an awesome chance for you to earn print credit for your session!

Starting today, right now (this very second even), for every friend that you refer who becomes a new fan of my Facebook page, you will get a $5 print credit.  AND, for every friend that you refer who signs up for my e-newsletter, you get an additional $5 print credit.  (Heck, I’ll even give you a $5 print credit for signing yourself up for my newsletter.  You know, because that’s the kind of gal I am.)  So you have the possibility to earn $10 towards some awesome photos for every friend you point my way!  Refer 10 friends, and you have $100 to spend on your photos.  How cool is that?  The best part?  Once you complete your session, you also get the chance to cash in on my awesome client referral program!  (Date night on me, anyone?!)

So, now for the guidelines.

  • Every referral must either post on my Facebook wall or in the comments below that they are a new ‘fan’ and mention your name.  I will not be able to track each new fan down and find out who referred them, so if you want the credit, they must mention your name.
  • When signing up for the e-newsletter there is a field for who referred you.  Again, they must put your name in here.  I will not accept emails after the fact giving your name.  It’s too confusing to keep track of that way.
  • You can earn up to $150 in print credit good on prints and products.  Print credit may not be applied to session fees.
  • Print credit may be gifted to someone else, but may not be combined.  (So you and 3 friends may not all gift your print credit to the same person.)
  • All print credit must be redeemed before April 15th.  (Hey Seniors!  This gives you enough time to do your Senior photos during Spring Break!)
  • Print credit is only applicable to future sessions and may not be used to purchase images from a session that has already been completed.

The earlier you begin referring people, the greater possibility of earning the full $150!  Because once you start referring friends, they’ll start referring friends too.  Also, I suggest contacting me asap to schedule your session.  I expect this to be quite popular and my calendar may fill up fast!  I will keep a running total of your credit up until the day of your ordering session.  (Your ordering session may be scheduled at the end of April, but your credit tally will stop as of April 15th.)

So, what are you waiting for?  Head over to my Facebook page and get referring!  Oh, and go sign up for the e-newsletter too. :)

A New Year!

January 4th, 2012

Christmas has passed, I am settled into my new house, and a new year is here!  I hope you all had a great holiday season and have great things ahead of you.  I have lots of awesome things happening this year.  I am working on some major changes in the studio to speed up my workflow and create a better system to allow me to work faster and more efficiently.  There will also be some changes to my policies and pricing.  (Nothing major – all good things!)  Also some exciting things for sessions and clients.  The first being a casting call!  I am looking for 2 maternity sessions and 2 newborn sessions (under 14 days old).  These casting call sessions get great incentives and have a lower investment commitment than my normal sessions. I would like to schedule these sessions before the end of January.  So if you are (or know someone who is) interested, contact me asap!

Black Friday Deal

November 25th, 2011

I’m getting in on the Black Friday offerings! Now through Midnight on Cyber Monday, all digital files are 40% off!  Files are $45 each or $1125 for a full session of 25+.  (Normally $75 and $1825 respectively.)  You can get files from any session you’ve had with me.  (Any session shot before January 1, 2011 will incur a $25 fee to recover the files from my archives.)  This is a great opportunity to get the digital files for archival purposes.  Or you can use them to make unique Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza gifts for family and friends!  In fact, over on my Facebook page I am posting one idea a day of neat things you can create with your images as well as a link to places to order from.  Just send me an email letting me know what you’d like and I’ll send you an invoice!

2011 Canvas Contest

November 15th, 2011

Things have been really busy here in the studio, but I’ve made time to create a little contest for my clients!  Over on my Facebook page, I have created an album with one image from each session I’ve photographed this year.  Over the next two weeks, fans will get to vote on their favorite image and the client with the most votes come November 28th will win a 16×20 canvas of the image of their choice from their session!  So get voting!  And send all your friends, too. You will vote by clicking ‘like’ on the images in this album.  All votes must also be fans of Liz Campbell Photography, so be sure you like the page as well.  Good luck!

Lillian – Fairmont WV Newborn Photographer

October 17th, 2011

Meet baby Lillian!  Her mother is a friend of mine and our sons play together.  I was so glad she let me take photos of this precious baby girl.  Look at that head of hair!  And I love her adorable little squishy face.  (I have a weakness for squishy baby faces.)  It was a dream to get to cuddle her some and take her photos.  Big brother Jacob did a great job taking a few with her.  And I love their little matching football hats!  (It is Mountaineer country, after all.)  So, no more words from me.  Just beautiful pictures of the sweet girl!

Robinson Family – Fairmont Family Photographer

October 13th, 2011

Meet the Robinsons!  (I love that movie.)  When Jennifer first contacted me, I knew I was going to love photographing this family.  They were a joy to work with!  The boys are both so well-mannered and sweet.  Nathan clearly loves William and is an awesome big brother!  It warmed my heart to see them together.  William was full of curiosity and sweet looks and Nathan loved telling me about how much he likes cars and trucks and motorcycles.  Jennifer, you have a beautiful family!  You can come see me any time. :)

Peyton – Fairmont Senior Photographer

October 11th, 2011

Peyton came all the way from VA to see me! Ha!  Maybe it’s not quite that dramatic. :)   Peyton has family here in Fairmont and knew she wanted her portraits done at Valley Falls, so her mother called me up before a trip into town to visit family, and we set her session up.  Peyton’s session was a ton of fun.  She did the Cameron-Diaz-Charlie’s-Angels hair flip for me and didn’t roll her eyes too much when I told her to fake laugh.  She even risked being run over for a shot!  Peyton, you can come be in front of my camera any time!
